Mile & Bite Health Coaching

How I Got into Running and Nutrition

Mile & Bite
So how did I get into health coaching?
It started with running the miles for my first marathon in 2017, which led me to embark on a personal health journey and eventually becoming a certified health coach with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
I am a marathon finisher of NYC Marathon 2017 and 2019, Chicago 2018, Nara 2018, Hong Kong 2019 and Da Nang 2019. My original plan for 2020 was to run my first 50 km in March, followed by Nagano City Marathon in April and Berlin Marathon in September.
Given the pandemic situation, many races have been cancelled. I still count myself very lucky and certainly thankful to be able to run outdoors. I am continuing to explore some beautiful trails and enjoy the unique skyline of Hong Kong

My Training
I received my health coach training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York, where I have completed the Health Coach Training Programme and the Gut Health Course. I also hold a Master of Chemistry from the University of Oxford in the UK from the early 2000s.
With my knowledge, you and I can create completely personalized actions to reach your goals. We can work towards your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and resources.

My Background
I was born in Hong Kong and have spent a large part of my life studying GCSEs, A Levels and a Chemistry degree. After that, I have spent about 15 years in working at various banks and living in London, Madrid and Vancouver.
In 2018, I returned to my home city of Hong Kong with my husband Patrik after spending about two and half years living and running around New York.
